Fair Use & Data Policy

1. Purpose

This Fair Use & Data Policy sets expectations for reasonable use of NomaPort connectivity features, included or recommended data plans, subscriptions and bandwidth-intensive services.

2. Fair use principles

• Services are intended for professional and business use by the subscribed user or team, not for mass public redistribution of connectivity.
• Usage should reflect typical remote work, travel and field operations patterns rather than continuous high-volume datacenter-like traffic.
• Automated scraping, crypto mining, bulk file sharing hubs and open proxy operation are prohibited unless explicitly authorised in writing.
• Each team member or device should have appropriate individual credentials where the product design requires it.

3. Mobile and hotspot data

Cellular data is typically provided through third-party SIM or eSIM plans selected by you or bundled where offered. Plan limits, throttling, roaming charges and fair use rules of the carrier apply in addition to this policy.

NomaPort may recommend plan sizes based on your stated use case but is not responsible for carrier overage fees unless a specific bundled data plan is sold by NomaPort in your order.

4. Subscription service limits

Software subscriptions may include reasonable API rate limits, storage guidance, AI usage thresholds or team seat counts as described at purchase. We may apply technical limits to protect platform stability.

If usage materially exceeds normal patterns for your plan, we may contact you to discuss upgrades, additional fees or temporary throttling.

5. Network abuse prevention

We monitor aggregate indicators of abuse such as unusual port scanning, spam emission or repeated authentication failures. Confirmed abuse may result in suspension under the Acceptable Use Policy.

6. Changes to plans and limits

Published plan limits may change with notice for future billing periods. Existing prepaid periods are honoured unless otherwise required by law or contract.
